Lancome Renergie Eclat Multi-Lift-Multi Action Tinted Skincare

Have you ever walked up to a beauty counter and tested a product and without looking at the price or reading much about it instantly fell in love. It was as if a spotlight was right on the product and people began to sing....Buy It.... Buy IT!!!! Well, yes folks, that happened to me today. I set out with a mission to check out the Rouge In Love Lipstick and saw this product and I couldn't take my eyes off it. Not because of the flashy packaging but what happened when I spread a little onto the back of my hand. Tiny particles illuminated my skin as completely blended into a soft light diffusing gleam that would be perfect for a little glow in the summer. I have been working with my mom on picking out some face creams with illumination for her skin. It seems the Watt's Up by Benefit is a bit cakey around the eye area unless you blend the heck out of it. Which is doable but let's face it who wants to spend hours blending. So when I picked up this product I knew it was meant to be for her. It is so light and creamy. It is billed by Lancome as a tinted moisturizer. She can use it alone or mix it in with her current foundation. The illumination is not too strong but rather gives your skin a soft focus and distracts any fine lines and wrinkles that may be lurking. It is also a skin tightener and helps to even out your skin tone. It is pricey at $75.00 per tube but of course she is worth every penny. I hope she loves it as much as I do as I plan on giving it to her for Mother's Day along with a few other goodies. If you are looking for one of the new hot BB creams or a tinted moisturizer with a sheen I recommend you check out this product at your local Lancome counter. It's divine.

Recap: Avalon Organic Vitamin C Serum

I am sorry to say this did not pass the test.  I wanted to love the product especially since I spent over $20.00 on it at Target, but the rotten orange aroma and fact that I broke out on my chin a day or two after using it just didn't cut it for me.  After further research, I found, this product did have a lot of followers back in the day but apparently the company has changed the formulation and along with that came an off odor and a sticky residue. Well, they can't all be great. That's why I buy and try beforehand. I hope to save you all $22.00 on this an perhaps put that money towards a new BB creme or primer for your skin. Sorry Avalon but you just did not get my vote. :(

My new OBSESSION! Nuxe Huile Prodiqieuse Multi-Usage Oil

I'm in heaven and I have hardly had the product in my house for very long. That's saying something because I am quite picky. Wow! The creators at Nuxe get a scorecard of 10 for this magic potion in a bottle. First let's start off by noting that it has an amazing scent. Very light and feminine and reminiscent of a bouquet of garden flowers. Then, I will gush about the multitude of uses. Dry skin, split ends, rough cuticles, after shaving, etc. I am in love and of course it is French as I love most French products. In fact stay tuned because I have direct shipped some goodies from a company called FrenchCosmetics.net. So far I am super impressed with my first item and I will fill you in on all the rest. You can find this oil on Amazon.com and dare I say it, kiss the Moroccan oil goodbye and go French, Oui!

  • Did you say Chicken Bumps?

With warm weather upon us its time to break out our super cute tank tops and sun dresses. But if you suffer from Keratosis Pilaris or what many people call, "Chicken Skin," then flaunting your arms may be a concern. But not to worry. KP Duty from DERMAdoctor has got you covered. It is guaranteed to improve the texture and color of chicken skin bumps and smooths away the rough patches leaving you with soft clear skin. Keratosis Pilaris is quite common and is caused from the overproduction of keratin in the skin. The result is the keratin forms plugs in the hair follicles and therefore, bumps begin to form. My son has chicken skin and after baths I apply KP Duty to his upper arms and within a week or so his skin is smooth and soft and back to normal. I highly recommend you give it a try and kiss those bumps goodbye! KP Duty by DERMAdoctor is available at www.dermadoctor.com
